I am Be
Counsellor – Wellbeing coach
“Change doula”


I see my work as empowering those who are ready to address their struggles.

I guide, support, enable and witness change.

My focus is on the person, more than on the issue.

My work location of choice is in nature: away from the confines of walls and the scrutiny of direct eye-contact. It gives a freedom – of thoughts, expression, pace – unlike anything else.
Being outdoors adds benefits to the work: just being in nature may improve your mood, lower your stress and increase the feeling of being connected.
Walking/physical movement helps with lateral thinking, moving from a “stuck” place and new perspective.
Overall, it makes for a more physical experience of therapy, and we may include nature in the work – through metaphors, sensory exercises and play.
(I also work in more traditional settings)
